1977 im Londoner East End gegründet, zählen die COCKNEY REJECTS neben SHAM 69, ANGELIC UPSTARTS, 4 SKINS und COCK SPARRER zu den wichtigsten (und erfolgreichsten) Vertretern des britischen Street-Punk, deren Song „Oi, Oi, Oi“ von ihrem Album Greatest Hits Vol. II (1980) zudem als Namensgeber für das nach ihm benannte Musikgenre fungierte.

Christ - The Album is the fourth album by Crass, released in 1982. Unlike previous Crass albums, Christ took almost a year to record, produce and mix, during which time the Falklands War had taken place.

LP Reissue! A remake of Crassfirst 12" release, originally releases 1978 (including the song "Asylum" which was censored from the original version). Includes all of the lyrics plus additional writings from/about Crass. An anarcho-punk classic!

"WHAT VISION IS LEFT AND IS ANYONE ASKING?" Originally released in 1981, Penis Envy has been rereleased in the original poster sleeve and now comes with a download card entitling the holder to a free mp3 download of the album. This new pressing has been prepared from new metalwork cut using the original analogue vinyl masters (in contrast to the recent, expanded CD resissue as part of the Crassical Collection, which was remastered from the original tapes). Named as a reference to some of Freud's ideas concerning sexuality, this release marked something of a departure from the somewhat 'macho', 'hardcore punk' image that The Feeding of the 5000 and its follow up Stations of the Crass had to some extent given the group, for it featured more obviously complex musical arrangements, as well as exclusively female vocals provided by Eve Libertine and Joy De Vivre (although Steve Ignorant remained a group member and is credited on the record sleeve as not on this recording). Das 2.Album der Band wurde Original 1979 veröffentlicht. Es enthält einen Menge Klassiker wie „big hands“, „hurry up gary“, „system“, „contaminational power“ etc. Ungebremster, absolut intelligenter Anarcho-Punk mit vielen Ideen, Spielereien und brillant ausformulierten Polit-Texten.

Repress des 1983er-Albums. A violent attack (in music form) against the Thatcher government and her war campaign in the Falkland Islands, containing some of the most brutal lyrical attacks and gruesome artwork ever conjured up by Crass.

Offizielle Nachpressung der Scheibe von 1982. Geiler roher HC Punk aus Northampton, UK Wirklich schade, dass es diese geile Band nicht zu mehr Releases gebracht hat, die geradlinigen, rohen HC-Riffs und der straighte Gesang sind wirklich erfrischend.
Schön, dass diese 80s Perle wieder ausgegraben wurde!

Die ganz frühen DISCHARGE ware noch punkrockiger und nicht so stark Hardcorepunk-orientiert.

Deshalb findet man auf den Demos, die zwischen März und Juni 1977 aufgenommen wurden, auch komplett andere Stücke als auf ihreren späteren Platten.

When the tray of a CD bears the simple message ‘Old-Fast-Loud’ and the whole theme of the artwork is old-school photocopied images and simplicity, you pretty much know what you’re gonna get. Geriatric Unit (ex-members of Iron Monkey and Heresy) play abrasive, plain up hardcore with a minimum of fuss and a lack of any pretension.

And ‘Audit Of Enemies’ definitely doesn’t [...]
